Current Vacancies
We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic Speech Pathologists to join our team.
The ongoing roles available are full-time and part-time. You will be predominantly clinic-based, and provide some mobile services. You will work with individuals with a range of diagnoses and support requirements, with the majority having Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
- Eligible for registration with Speech Pathology Australia
- Passion to engage with children and their families
- Ability to use assessment skills and tailor evidence-based interventions to meet the needs of individuals and their families or carers
- Excellent organisational, communication, written and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current valid driver’s license and reliable car
- Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
- Working With Children’s Check
- Recent Police Check

The role of an Allied Health Assistant at Greater Geelong Speech Pathology is to deliver speech pathology programs with a paediatric caseload. You will work closely with the Speech Pathologist to assist families in meeting their goals. We care about connecting people to their world through communication and are committed to providing high quality services.

• Current Working With Children Check (Employee);
• Valid National Police Check;
• Current Drivers Licence and reliable car;
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, or transitional arrangements;

New Graduate Program
Greater Geelong Speech Pathology’s new graduate program is designed specifically for clinicians who boast an enthusiastic approach to therapy, are passionate about making a difference, and are eager to learn. We are committed to supporting the development of your career through our tailored mentorship program.
All new graduates will complete a two week graduate induction which will include shadowing experienced clinicians, workshops and webinars, and software training. This is when you will meet your colleagues and mentors, to form strong relationships for support across your first year. Our dedicated 12-month graduate program also includes weekly supervision, monthly team meetings, monthly professional development, and so much more.
The positions are ongoing and permanent (with a three-month trial period) and we will support you to build your career while providing continuity and service excellence to our clients.
